Planning Permission Granted for 17 New Homes in Garden Village

We’re delighted to announce that planning permission has now been granted for our new residential development on Swansea Road, Garden Village. This exciting scheme will deliver 17 high-quality homes, thoughtfully designed to meet the needs of the local community.
Located just off Swansea Road near the A484 roundabout, the development will comprise a mix of 15 houses and 2 bungalows. The homes have been carefully planned to create a welcoming, well-connected neighbourhood that complements the surrounding area.
Access to the site will be via a newly widened lane, with a dedicated footpath to ensure safe pedestrian movement. A total of 37 parking spaces will be provided for residents and visitors, supporting the development’s accessibility and convenience.
The layout has been designed to promote privacy, functionality, and a strong sense of community. Existing natural features, including a pond, will be retained and enhanced, while new landscaping will introduce additional greenery to the site. Although a small number of trees will be removed, these will be replaced with new planting to support biodiversity and visual appeal.
A transport assessment has confirmed that the development will have a minimal impact on local traffic, with an estimated 34 vehicle movements per day – a manageable figure for the area.
This development forms part of a wider vision for the locality, which includes plans for new homes and a primary school as outlined in Swansea’s local development plan. We’re proud to be contributing to the area’s growth and to providing much-needed homes for local people.
We look forward to sharing further updates as the project progresses.
